The town of Arcadia, Indiana dates back to the mid 1800's.  In early
1849, John Shaffer and Daniel Waltz donated part of their land to
found a town, and the following year Isaac Martz plotted the town of
Arcadia.

The town has changed a lot since then.  But Arcadia is still a
friendly community that welcomes not only our own neighbors but
visitors as well.  Our citizens take pride in their homes and
businesses and are dedicated to revitalizing this historic town.
Enjoy our array of local services and talents without the large city
hassle.

Welcome to Arcadia, Indiana!
